Behavioral health is where Salesforce meets the hardest integration realities in healthcare. Clinical EMRs like ZenCharts and Kipu hold the treatment data. Operations needs the treatment data reflected without violating clinician workflow. Bluecrest Recovery needed both, and Pulse Professional Services (formerly Madison Ave Consulting) built the Salesforce side around its clinical systems.
What We Built
- Salesforce-ZenCharts reconfiguration. Fixed and extended the bi-directional integration between Salesforce and ZenCharts so referral, admissions, and treatment status data flowed correctly in both directions. Documented the user guide so the ops team owned the workflow.
- Kipu workflow. Built out the Salesforce-side workflow that complements Kipu’s clinical system of record, handling the operational layer (admissions funnel, utilization, discharge planning) without duplicating clinical work.
- Admin on Demand. Ongoing admin partnership, including change orders as the business evolved. Bluecrest’s ops team could keep shipping changes without hiring a full-time Salesforce admin.
Why It Worked
Behavioral health is where healthcare-native Salesforce expertise earns its price. Few implementation partners have hands-on ZenCharts and Kipu experience. We have built bi-directional integrations, documented the user flows, and handled the exception paths (readmissions, multi-episode patients, clinical overrides) that only surface when you’ve done this before. Bluecrest got senior hands, not a learning curve.
