Nonprofit practice

Salesforce for nonprofits that run real programs.

Pulse Professional Services (formerly Madison Ave Consulting) builds Salesforce for nonprofits that manage programs, participants and partner relationships, from global federations to state-approved recovery programs.

What we deliver.

  • Relationship and program data models. We map how your members, partners, participants and alumni connect before we configure anything, so the platform still fits as your programs grow.
  • Program management. Enrollment, participant tracking and program reporting inside Salesforce, built around your flagship programs.
  • Health Cloud for care programs. For nonprofits that deliver recovery, peer support or other care services, we build on Health Cloud, with intake, goals and session notes for your staff.
  • Data and integration. Migration, cleanup and reporting, so leadership and funder reports come from one source.
  • Managed services. Admin support, release management and roadmap planning after go-live, from the team that built your org.
  • AI and agents. We design, build and support Agentforce agents on data and processes we map first, and help teams choose between Agentforce and Claude for each use case.

Nonprofit customer stories.

Both stories are services engagements: Salesforce projects delivered by Pulse Professional Services.

WFUNA

Services engagement. A Salesforce foundation for the World Federation of United Nations Associations: a contact model for delegates, diplomats and member associations, and the flagship WIMUN program run inside Salesforce. Read the WFUNA story

The Hansen Foundation

Run it on Pulse Core.

Pulse Core runs any process in Salesforce as a workflow your team can see. Admins define the phases, fields and transitions, your team moves work forward from the record page, and every step shows up in native Salesforce reports. Pulse Core customers today are healthcare organizations. Outside healthcare, we deliver Pulse Core through a Professional Services engagement.

  • Use case: program enrollment and case management. Participants move from application to enrollment to active case work as phases, with the fields each phase needs and time in stage tracked.
  • Use case: grant application review. Applications step through intake, review and decision on the grant record, with an email to the applicant when the decision is recorded.
  • Use case: volunteer onboarding. Sign-up, screening and orientation run as phases, with SLAs that show where a volunteer is waiting.

These use cases are examples of what Pulse Core can run. See Pulse beyond healthcare

How we work.

Every phase has an owner and a deliverable, and senior architects do the work.

Discovery and architecture.

We start with workshops and interviews with the people who run the process. Then we write a blueprint with milestones and deliverables before any build starts.

Build.

The architects who scope the work are the ones who build it, with weekly check-ins against the plan.

Handover.

Training and documentation so your team owns the result, with managed services when you want us to stay on.
