Pulse Agents

Ask your records a question. Get an answer you can act on.

Pulse AI Agents, built on Agentforce, let staff ask about a referral, patient, applicant, employee, schedule or referral source in plain language and get the answer from records they can already see.

What your team can ask about.

Staff ask about a specific record by name. The agent answers from Pulse records that person can already open, and it proposes any change for them to confirm.

  • Intake and Admissions Referral, intake and appointment details for a named client, plus confirmed updates to the referral fields your admin allows.
  • Patient Case Management Case and hold details for a named patient. Ask for a new review date and the agent proposes it for you to confirm.
  • Recruiting and Onboarding The profile of a named caregiver applicant or employee, and a proposed follow-up date for an applicant when you ask.
  • Scheduling and Support Appointments for a named patient, or the staffing profile of a named employee.
  • Marketing and Liaison A briefing on a specific referral source before a visit, and a proposed follow-up date for that source when you ask.
  • Care and Family Mobile Clinicians and family users can ask about appointments for a named care recipient.
  • Document Intake (Coming) Reading referral packets and other intake documents is in development. Until it ships, the agent declines document requests.

Guardrails built in.

Only what each user can see.

Every search runs with the user's own Salesforce sharing, object and field permissions.

Nothing changes without a person.

Updates touch only the fields an admin allows, and each one waits for the user to confirm it.

It declines what it cannot handle.

When a request falls outside its topics, the agent tells the user it cannot help with that request. It does not make up an answer.

Listed on Salesforce AppExchange.

Pulse AI Agents passed Salesforce's security review and are listed on AppExchange. They run on Agentforce inside Salesforce, so Salesforce's Einstein Trust Layer protections apply. See the listing on AppExchange

Coming next.

Work in progress is labeled Coming.

  • Document agent (Coming) An agent that reads the referral packets your intake team receives.
  • Voice agent (Coming) An agent for caregiver call-outs and shift confirmations.
  • Voice-note activity logging (Coming) Field reps dictate an end-of-day note, and the agent logs their visits, notes and referrals.

Questions about Pulse AI Agents.

Do I need Agentforce to use Pulse AI Agents?

Yes. Pulse AI Agents are built on Agentforce, so your Salesforce org needs Agentforce. An administrator adds the Pulse topics and actions to an agent, grants the package permissions, and maps them to your Pulse objects and fields. We confirm your Salesforce edition and licenses during scoping.

Can Pulse AI Agents change a record on their own?

No. When a user asks for a change, the agent proposes it and waits for that user to confirm. Updates are limited to fields an administrator allows, and every search runs with the Salesforce sharing, object and field permissions of the person asking.

What do Pulse AI Agents cost?

AI usage is priced as an add-on to the Pulse license. The license is $89 per user per month, and organizations with 500 or more users move to custom Enterprise pricing.

Is this the same as the Pulse Core workflow agent?

No. Pulse AI Agents run on Agentforce and answer questions from your Pulse records. The Pulse Core workflow agent is built on Claude from Anthropic and works inside Pulse Core workflows, where it acts with your approval by default. How Pulse uses AI covers both.
